Chiropractic is a health profession that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain, injury and disfunction. Treating patients of all ages, chiropractors treat acute and chronic conditions, aiming to reduce pain, restore function and prevent injury recurrence.
Chiropractors treat most musculoskeletal conditions, whether caused by trauma, over-use, poor posture or general wear and tear, we aim to find the underlying cause of your problem and restore the body to optimal health and function.
We provide quality chiropractic care with a patient-centred approach. Every patient is different, and no two injuries or symptoms are the same. Following a professional consultation and examination we provide a personalised treatment plan specific to each individual.

Rob uses traditional techniques involving joint manipulation, as well as embracing advanced chiropractic technology. He uses an Impulse IQ device, which delivers effective joint manipulation in a gentle way. Rob is qualified as a Dr of chiropractic, registered with the GCC and BCA.
Problems with the spine are one of the most common complaints a chiropractor treats. Around 8 million people in the UK suffer with some degree of back or neck pain. These are caused by a variety of factors, such as muscle strains, joint dysfunction and osteoarthritis, as well as disc problems.
Most back and neck pain responds quickly to chiropractic treatment, which can include manual manipulation, electronic manipulation, mobilisation and soft tissue release.
After treating the initial problem and reducing symptoms, we will address any underlying contributing factors (such as poor posture or repetitive movement) and give practical advice on managing the problem and preventing its return.

There are different types of headaches, but the most common is a cervicogenic headache which originates from stiffness, dysfunction and overuse of the joints and muscles of the neck and upper back. This can be caused by trauma, whiplash, poor neck positioning/posture. Tension/stress-related headaches are also a common place, again caused by tightness in the neck and upper back.
Neck related headaches can be effectively treated with chiropractic techniques, alleviating pain and reducing frequency. Once the underlying cause is identified, results quickly follow, and practical advice will be given on managing the problem and preventing its return.
Despite the triggers for migraines not being fully understood, chiropractic treatment can have a positive effect for sufferers. By treating the neck and relieving tension into the head, migraines are often reduced with chiropractic care.

Sciatica is the name given to nerve pain or discomfort that manifests in the leg, caused by irritation and/or compression of the sciatic nerve. Sciatica originates in the lower back, radiates into the buttock and down the leg. The irritation/compression is caused either by a disc physically coming into contact with the nerve, or by inflammation within the lower back compressing the nerve. Another situation where a patient feels a similar symptom/sensation, is caused by muscles in the buttock irritating the nerve.
Chiropractors identify and address the cause of the problem, calming symptoms and improving the function of the spine and hip complex, reducing the chance of recurrence.

There are many causes of hip pain, and the most common we see are due to muscular strains, dysfunction within the hip or pelvic joints and osteoarthritis.
Using specific techniques, such as hands-on manipulation, electronic manipulation, mobilisation and soft tissue release, Chiropractic treatment helps to improve mobility within the hip, as well as reduce pain and inflammation. Once joint function is returned and symptoms have reduced, after-care advice is given to help patients reduce the chance of recurrence and delay arthritic degeneration.
